As a mechatronics technician, you will learn how to manufacture mechanical, electrical and electronic components and assemblies and how to combine them into mechatronic systems.

Your added training value at GTech

After completing your basic training, you will work on customer projects for mechatronic systems. You will independently assemble assemblies, install pneumatics and electrical system components, install tubing and wire them. You will gain valuable experience in mechanics and control technology. You will also gain insights into programming and automated systems.
 
Your main tasks
  • read and use technical drawings as well as circuit and fluid diagrams,
  • assemble, wire, test and commission electromechanical assemblies,
  • Assemble, assemble, test and commission machines,
  • Manufacture and install spare parts and mechanical engineering elements,
  • Maintain and set machine and system parts,
  • Manufacture, set up and test controls of the pneumatic type,
  • Measure and test mechanical engineering and electrical parameters,
  • Machining mechanical parts, assembling mechanical assemblies and components, and
  • Search for, isolate and remedy errors, defects and faults in systems.
