GardoRoom – laundry distribution system for efficient textile management

GardoRoom is the heart of our automated laundry distribution system and, together with the laundry return system, forms a central component of GTech textile management. Especially for hygiene-critical work areas – such as hospitals, nursing homes or laboratories – it represents an intelligent, low-maintenance solution for making the distribution of workwear precise, cost-effective and traceable.

With seamless RFID tracking, personalised distribution and return, and centralised data management, the GardoRoom contributes significantly to the optimisation of overall laundry management.

TEXTILE MANAGEMENT ROOM SOLUTION

GardoRoom

Automated garment supply

The cleaning of workwear is already largely automated. The entire logistics chain down to the cleaned product can be largely outsourced to service organizations. Our product focuses on manually removing service garments from the supply system, which is designed for size-specific and wearer-specific service garments.

Product description

By reading the personnel card, the system informs the customer about the garment credit, location and dates. This enables the return of the garments as well as their immediate removal and registers both the returned and the removed garments. By means of a touch terminal and a chip card reader in front of the personnel gate, various system information can be issued and access to the laundry removal room granted. Garments are allocated as users exit the room, at which point the garments carried, excluding personal clothing, are totaled to the personnel credit. Based on experience in the industrial environment, this Gardomat system contains only proven automation components.

Operating data management
Data management is handled by a data server with an SQL database on a Windows-based PC system. A variety of data can be linked to the service provider (laundry) via Internet technology. Data can be synchronized between the laundry and the customer. Computer-based data storage is integrated and data backup to existing customer server systems can be arranged with us. In addition, a wide range of statistics are available to the customer.
