As a designer, you will develop your strengths creativity, spatial imagination and technical understanding. You use state-of-the-art IT systems with 3D design programs for the construction of assemblies and the preparation of standard-compliant drawings. After completing your apprenticeship, you will be perfectly trained in mechanical and plant engineering. So you have a future-proof and innovative job.
 

Your main tasks

• read and use technical documents,

• Use information technology such as CAD, networks, internet, intranet, databases,

• work project-oriented based on knowledge of project and quality management,

• Make model recordings and sketches,

• Draw specialist components, assemblies of mechanical engineering in plan, floor and cross plan,

• Draw angled plan and perspectives in accordance with standards,

• perform technical calculations,

• Apply construction systematics and technology of mechanical engineering and find solutions,

• Design and manufacture machines, systems or components,

• create relevant documentation and

• Conducting discussions with customers and suppliers.
