For GTech, the term "Information Technology" combines automation, programming and visualization of machinery and plants, as well as individual software development or creating and servicing server or network systems.

Individual Software Development: Handling development tools professionally is extremely important, but what software designers need is extensive know-how and technological knowledge in the field of software application. International customers increasingly require standardized operating interfaces customized to their company for operation and control of their plants. For the area of assembly and testing plants in particular, we keep developing our software systems for vehicle and component engineering with integrated process data backup and 100 % traceability. We have been using these software products for 10 years on an international level, continuously expanding and updating them based on our ever-growing experience. Especially in this area, we are relying on further development. Thus, we use a modular design in programming our software products, which in practice results in shorter test periods and thus faster availability.

Interfaces: Increasing requirements for a continuous flow of information – from the production or automation level down to the operational and company management level – entail a growing number of interfaces. Thanks to the integration of conventional IT in our machines and plants, they can be easily connected to your PPS (Production Planning System) or EPS (Engineering Planning System).

MIS system:Our MIS (Management Information System) is not an ERP system. It excels due to its modular design. The MIS is primarily responsible for data transfer between your ERP system and the production plants. We thus adopt production data from the PPS via interfaces, supply your production plant with orders and transfer the order process data back to your system. We also attach particular importance to the fact that our modules at the production plants enable us to display the process in question to enable speedy analysis.
